Damon’s dark looks go well with his dark entrance into Mystic Falls. He and Stefan fell in love with the same girl, and ever since, he has struggled with his brother for many other things. He was violent and merciless when he first arrived, but eventually, he “softened” up as he began to develop friendships and regain his “human” side. Despite his cockiness, he cannot help falling for Elena as well.

Katherine Pierce

She, essentially, started it all. She was the beautiful girl who lured the Salvatore brothers and turned them into vampires 100 years ago. She awoke in the present day, and she’s intent on destroying Elena and bringing evil back to Mystic Falls. She has incredible power and dark alliances, and she uses her cunning and beauty to get what she wants.
